DESCRIPTION:The Gallery@57 is proud to present Art in Bloom, a solo exhibit by Malden-based artist Bhagyashree Lulay. This colorful and expressive show features floral-inspired works across a range of mediums—watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, and digital illustration.\n

Join us for an artist reception on Friday, July 11, from 6:00–8:00 PM to meet Bhagyashree and explore the stories behind her art.\n

A self-taught artist with a master’s in landscape architecture, Bhagyashree draws inspiration from nature, gardens, and her childhood in India. “Painting florals comes very intuitively to me,” she says. “Botanicals are my comfort zone.”\n
\n
Since moving to the U.S. in 2022, she has quickly become a vibrant part of the local arts community—teaching art to children and adults in Malden and Melrose, and contributing to public art through the 2024 Creative Malden Switchbox Project.\n
