Description:
A series of weekly farmers markets will take place every Wednesday, 3:00 to 7:00pm at the Malden City Hall Plaza from July 2nd through September 24th.
Participating farms include:
Spring Brook Farm - Littleton, MA
Gus Jaynes - Beverly, MA
Daniel Orme - Beverly, MA
Market Rules
Vendors will arrive between 2:00 and 2:30pm and be ready to sell by 3:00pm and continue to be open until 7:00pm even if they sell out to preserve the look and feel of the market.
Vendors may use the loading zone on the Florence Street side of the Plaza or street parking. Vendors may not drive into the Plaza.
The booth fee will be $40.00 per date. The booth will be 10’x10’ and will include a tent, 8’ table, and 2 chairs. Electrical hookups will not be available for the booths.
Some vendors will also need to obtain a Malden Health Department permit and pay a $30 fee which is good for the year.
Vendors needing to cancel a particular market day must email at least 24 hours before the start of that market to receive a refund for that day.
The market will occur regardless of weather unless the weather is potentially unsafe. No refunds will be given if the market is cancelled due to weather.
All vendors will be expected to act in a professional and courteous manner at all times and thoroughly clean up at the end of each market day.
