Malden Pride Ride & Picnic
May 4 @ 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Celebrate National Ride a Bike Day and our party on wheels with Malden Pride Coalition, Mystic River Watershed Association and Bike to the Sea for a leisurely 6 mile ride and roll event along the Northern Strand Trail and Gateway Park in Everett. We will take a pit stop to learn about the Malden River Trash Trap initiated by Mystic River Watershed Association and Friends of the Malden River.
Post ride, we will hang out by the Bike Kitchen to have our picnic, learn more about the Malden Pride Coalition and the Bike Kitchen. Come for the bike ride, stay for the sense of community and belonging!
All wheels are welcome! Recommended for ages 10 and for those who are able to roll in confidence and control.
Meet – Bike to the Sea Bike Kitchen, 158 Canal St. Malden
Parking – On Canal Street or across the street at CHA Malden Care Center Parking Lot
What to Bring – water, flat kit, bring your own lunch, snacks, All participants MUST wear a helmet!
